So we decided that Mark needed a bigger horse...he loves our horse Rosie, but when his feet are only about a foot off the ground while riding her, it looks a little silly! He has a good friend that does trail rides for a business and this horse was just too big for everyone. They did a little talking and settled on some trade work...thus we have a new horse! He is HUGE!! (Over 17 hands!) His name is Sirus. This horse had a guarantee that he didn't buck...well, we will just say that he doesn't like distractions and wants all the attention on him.
(Both Mark and his Uncle got bucked off on the same day due to those distractions!) As you can see, it is a pretty long fall, especially when Mark thought that he was almost to the ground and did a tuck and roll sort of thing and realized that he was still at least a foot off the ground! OUCH!! Everyone is okay though. Thank Goodness!!!

we've been thinking about getting something bigger too -- but in the car family.
we would like to take a ride though next summer . . . break him in for us.
